It depends on the business. WooCommerce is ideal for those starting out and wanting total flexibility (WordPress-based). Shopify is the easiest to manage and scale without internal IT. PrestaShop is excellent for multi-shop and complex catalogs. For custom projects (subscription, marketplace, advanced B2B) we develop from scratch in Next.js + Stripe. We decide together after briefing.
